The First Sterilization Project

The First Sterilization Project

On Sunday, October 16, 2016 in Bismarck, ND, Furry Friends Rockin’ Rescue, A Cause for Claws, and Henderson Veterinary Service took on the daunting task of a sterilization project of seven males and six female cats.

Eight kittens were pulled to receive further care to include ear mite, ringworm treatment, and antibiotics. Once they are age appropriate and healthy, they can be sterilized.

Ears were clipped for others to recognize that these cats have been sterilized as well as cleaned from any ear mites that were present.

The cats will be returned to their owner as part of a trap, neuter, and release program.

Each cat cost FFRR approximately $75 which included the sterilization and all necessary medical supplies.

View our photos below for a visual of what today’s sterilization entailed. Warning: pictures may be considered graphic for certain viewers.
