Lily was pulled from an impound where her time was nearly up. She was bursting with energy — too

intense, too strong-willed, too much. She jumped our 6-foot kennels with ease, struggled with dog

aggression, and had more energy than any of us knew what to do with. Foster homes passed.

Potential adopters hesitated. To many, she looked like a lost cause.
